Lots of people are running it on Windows 10.

My first suggestion would be to update your audio and video drivers, and give it another go. If that doesn't work, take a look at some of the numerous MV / Windows 10 threads that are already here and see if anyone else has similar problems and what suggestions were given to them.

we need more info to help.

What exactly have you tried?

Do you get an error message, an unusable/white windows, does nothing happen?

If nothing happens, is the RPGMaker-Process visible in the task manager or not?

Have you tried reinstalling MV?

Which version of MV are you using (steam or non-steam, 1.00 or 1.01)?

Which graphic card do you have, and what's the driver version?

Have you checked if the windows upgrade registered the MV as a restricted program or into access protection?

I have tried troubleshooting, reinstaling .

I have non-steam version 1.01 of MV.

Windows is not restricting program

When I start MV it shows a white blank page and after a second a windows shows saying "Windows is checking for solution".

Then it says "A promblem has this program to not work correctly. Windows is closing program now and will notice you if it finds a solution." and then it closes automatically.

White screen indicates a problem with the OGL version of your graphic driver - which graphic card do you have, and how old is the installed driver?

i dont know
???
The very first tip you got was to update your drivers, especially the graphic drivers - to be able to do that, you need to know which graphic card you have - and any driver download lists the date when the driver was made available.

Have you updated your graphic driver, yes or no?

When you answered "not working" after that tip, did you mean you made the driver update and it didn't help, or did you mean that you didn't do the driver update because you didn't know how to do that?

Then please ask someone in your family or from your friends on how to identfy the graphic card in your computer and update the drivere - that is what you need to do now, and most probably it will solve the problem.

Most companies that produce graphic cards have a program on their website that can point you to the correct driver automatically, but you need to know which company site to go to - Intel, AMD/ATI and nVidia are the most often used graphic cards, but there are half a dozen other chip producers.

And we can't see your computer to answer that question for you.

When you updated to Windows 10 it caused driver issues to your computer. That means you have to update all your drivers to their Windows 10 compatible versions.

Q.1. I'm getting white screen or splash screen crash errors!  Answer: There are two different reasons why this happen:

>> White Splash Screen : gfx driver most likely do not support Opengl, please make sure to update the driver to an openGL enabled most recent driver

>> Crash : there might be a problem with your graphic driver, reinstalling the driver from scratch can fix the problem

Downgrade to Windows 7 or buy a new hardware that is compatible with Windows 10

The hardware is compatible with windows 10
No, either your hardware or your drivers are not yet compatible.
There are dozens of users with Win10 where RMMV already runs - that means the problem has to be on your computer.

From your descriptions, it's clear that one of the drivers you have doesn't work correctly with Win10. That in itself is nothing new - it always takes the hardware manufacturers some time to rewrite drivers correctly.

So basically you'll have to wait until all manufacturers of your main computer components (mainboard/chipset, grafic card, soundcard) have updated their drivers and then install those divers correctly.

We can do absolutely nothing on our end until that is done.

Can you ask the person who updated the drivers for you which manufacturers the drivers are from and which data they were released?

With that info we can at least try to help you and check if those drivers are out - but we need to know which grafic card, sound card and mainboard chipset your computer has before we can offer any further help.

There is no general problem with Win10 - if there were, we would have gotten a lot more reports about it.
It is something on your computer that causes this - something that has nothing to do with W10 at all.
Please make a new post where you answer the questions on your computer - you can use the posts and questions above as a guideline to find out your problem, but most likely it is not the same.
