RPG MAKER MV Opinion section

[Hollow 1977]

The new rpg maker is due to come out soon so I am starting this topic so everyone has a chance to add in their opinions. Is there something about it you love or hate. Maybe share some information that may be fact or rumor. All opinions are welcome. So feel to free comment.

I am looking forward to the new layering system and hope it is closer to XP which they went away from when they made VX. Still not sure about price though or when it will come out.

I'm excited for MV and will probably get it no matter what. I don't really have enough information for an opinion though. Probably tons of fun!

... It's coming out to early for my tastes, will likely get it eventually but probably not anytime soon after it comes out. The hype of some people is a bit silly, I guess it's good if it inspires them to buy it, I've just never been much into hype and prefer to wait and see the reality of a product before reaching into my own wallet.

I do look forward to some of the features such as higher resolution options, more mapping layers, easier script usage, and mobile support, but I'll most likely end up waiting a bit for enough resources to be available for it before buying it, as well as for the price to be more affordable. Other than this, I too don't see much point discussing it whilst it's not out yet. I am not a fan of hype, which is why I do not go to the official MV thread.
