I asked my friends (gamers, age 27+) about this, and guess what: out of 10, only 3 feels the difference between fantasy and scifi.....lol.


Heck, 1 of those 10 didn't even know what "scifi" really is. And after a lot of explanation, he said:"Ah, so simply speaking, scifi is part of fantasy huh? Neat!"


I guess if you show them Star Wars, Mass Effect, etc, most of them will just see those games as "fantasy".....

I sadly haven't been touching RPGMaker in a long while (end of college and start of day job really murder your amount of free time :S), but I've preordered this.

Can't wait to see if I'll manage to take up the hobby again.

Yes, yes it does. Although, I have to say, college was worse. When I'm done a work day, I don't need to bring work home with me... I did, however, just schedule release day off, because let's be honest... I will fidget my way through the morning, get little done, spend lunch playing with MV and probably forget to eat, and then have exactly ZERO focus for the entire afternoon. I am so excited!

Wait 'til you have kids.  Then you really see what it's like not to have free time anymore.  Sports, homework, scouts, various kid outings or activities... I have days where I look forward to going to work to get some downtime.

I remember asking how RPG Maker MV could be able to change the tile size via plugins but the problem is i don't know if it will be possible... because in my opinion big RPGs sized in 48x48 grids are not too interesting for me, i'd just want better as smaller.

Window size can be also changed (including the message boxes, fonts, etc.)?

Well, for the window size we've been told that we can resize it to our hearts content (and apparently it does well at 1080p), but I don't think we've heard anything about fonts and such. When you say message boxes, do you mean the windows on the screen? If so, those could always have been resized, even in Ace.
