Hello everyone !
I hope this is the right place to post this if not i'm really sorry.

I have a question regarding the source code of the embedded functions in RPG maker MV, i'm not sure what to call it but for example if i waned to make an event in the game without using Javascript (Scripting) after making the event i would like to see the script behind it. Would i be able to do that ?

If the question is unclear i'm sorry i can provide more details if necessary.

Thank you in advance!

Your question is somewhat unclear, yeah. Can you elaborate?

MV doesn't generate a script for your event, the game interprets the event commands directly.

Yes absolutely.

For example if i created an event by using the event command like this video

the event is done without scripting anything but lets say i wanna see the scripted version file of it in RPG maker is there a way to view or get that ?

i would like to know if there is the option to be able to edit within the game itself like in video (with no scripts) and the option to take the scripted file already made (from your previous work in the event command) and tweak it here and there.

Ah, I think I understand. As Hudell said, the event commands are just a user-friendly way to run specific JavaScript functions; there isn't a script generated for the event itself.

There is a base set of js files that form the core scripts for every game (the engine itself).

Your game will have the core scripts. When you create an event using event commands, each command will have an id and a series of parameters. This is what's saved in your Map###.js file, and what's read when you're playing the game. As each command is encountered by the Game_Interpreter class, it looks at the command id, then calls a function for that specific command, passing the parameters.

So yes, there are base scripts for the game, but unless you add plugins, they are the same for all games. It's the event commands you use that control the game's behaviour and progress, and at no point are they actually converted into scripts.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
