RPG Maker MV Splash Screen

Hey guys I keep getting an "Stopped working" on the launch splash screen. I have tried all the solutions suggested in the forums. I have restarted my computer, I have reinstalled the software, I have put in the file opengl32.dll, I have updated my graphics driver and restarted again after that, I have verified the local files and download via steam. I even tried downloading the demo version via the actual webpage and still the same crash. I checked the debug file and got this error: resource_bundle.cc(286)] locale_file_path.empty(). I really don't know what to do. I really want to use this software, but I feel like I might have to refund it at this point

Let's make this easy.


What Operating System are you using?


What's your PC/Mac specs? 


If you're using windows try running MV in compatibility mode, try windows 7 and run it as an administrator.


If that doesn't work, uninstall MV and re-install it as sometimes that works.


Also take a screencap with the task manager open when you get this error, it could be memory or even graphical related.

Yes I know, I've already stated, that I have this Problem too. But right now, I really want to upgrade from Ace to MV, paid 60,-€ for the software, and it isn't working. Right now, I'm out of ideas.

DirectX 11


RPGMaker MV Steam Version


Things I've tried so far:


reinstalling,


compatibility check to Win7,


.dll file injection,


verifying the steam cache,


run as administrator,
