RMMV RPG Maker MV Tiled Plugin causing error: TypeError: Cannot read property 'width' of null

Hi there! I'm using Archeia's and Dr. Yami's Tiled plugin and it seems to crash whenever I start a New Game.
It reads out:
at Game_Map.width (YED_Tiled.js:1554:33)
at Game_Map.isValid (rpg_objects.js:5909:31)
at Game_Map_isBush (rpg_objects.js:5981:17)
at Game_Event.Game_CharacterBase.isOnBush (rpg_objects.js:6630:21)
at Game_Event.Game_CharacterBase.refreshBushDepth (rpg_objects.js:6616:18)
at Game_Event.Game_CharacterBase.locate (rpg_objects.js:6462:10)
at Game_Event.locate (rpg_objects.js:8754:37)
at Game_Event.initialize (rpg_objects.js:8441:10)
at new Game_Event (rpg_objects.js:8431:21)
at Game_Map.setupEvents (rpg_objects.js:5551:31)

"of null" means you have given the engine a reference to an object that does not exist.

This is usually either a configuration problem or an incompatibility problem from plugins.

so please give screenshots of your plugin manager with all your plugins and their order.

then you should have posted this with MZ tags, not with MV.

And that might already be the problem: a lot of MV-Plugins require the FOSSIL plugin to be compatible with MZ, and other MV-Plugins cannot be made compatible with MZ.

I suggest checking Fossil for compatibility before doing anything else in MZ, because you might have to go back to MV if you have plugins that cannot be made to work in MZ.

Just realized what was the problem. I didn't named the maps correctly :blink: it was Map1.json not map001.json. i feel stupid now lol

Have you checked all your MV-Plugins for compatibility with FOSSIL before installing it?
That is what I asked you to do after all, not to simple install fossil.
Plugins aren't miracle workers, and not every plugin is compatible with FOSSIL and/or MZ.

And please state what exactly is the error message you get in MV without fossil


EDIT: ok, that would have come up much later in the bughunting process. glad you found it on your own.

Hey Y’all! Here’s Day #8! Another round of applause for @hiddenone my hero yesterday. Kind of still flipping between too hot and too cold, but friends, we’re hydrated.
