Hello.

Tried using this today, made a new key and used 123456 as passphrase but when I go to make apk + optimize and put my key password in it just says "can not open jar file" and closes. I followed the instructions correctly. running windows 10 64 bit pro, amd fx 8350 cpu, gtx 970 gpu, 16GB ram 1600mhz.

Did you both, make an application sign key first? if so, when making your apk did you input the first or second password you made when making the sign key? You need to use the second password you entered when making the signed apk. If your not sure make a new keystore again and write down your passwords and then try again.

My rig is near the same as you NTR and I have had zero issues with using this tool building a small project for testing. I do recommend following the full build process for using Xilefian's MV Player to start with if possible. Just so you know it will build on your machine normally before trying out shortcuts like this. Especially as you can always download the latest version of the source as it's updated.

If I could get some help I would be grateful. This program has done wonders where every other path I have failed at. I am not exactly computer savvy but I do take my time to learn. I have been looking for an answer for the last two days with no success yet and I hope that someone here will be able to help. My game loads fine through the program fine. I can load it onto my phone fine. The issue is that the additional plugins are not carried with it. When I load out the game for development via computer everything works fine. I believe I have worked out all of the kinks and want to give it to a friend to do an outside test run via his phone. But without some of those plugins the rest of the game will not work. Is there a special way of loading those plugins, special location for phone use, or a command line needed in order for them to be processed? I noted through the comments that there were those who were using plugins, some I think are the same ones I am using. Any help is appreciated and thank you ahead of time for constructive responses.

As far as i know, there are plugins that simply are not be made to work on mobile phones. :/
I can tell you how to work around with this if I not know what plugins you are using.

So.... it work's...i think, i made the app, with a little 5MB proyect for testing, i copy it to my phone, aaand... dosen't install at all

It really is strange. The sign key is working. But there are issues with the apk build. It said that I need to have a frame-path. If I load it on my android device nothing on screen will appear and there is no sound. So how can I fix this problem, MBTY?

Hi bros. My native language is russian, so i`m sorry if text below will strange for you :)
I spent many time to find a solution how to compile Android-APK-file without installing JRE, JDK, Aapt, Android SDK, Python, nodeJS and all this stuff in to Windows for only one purpose. I mean portable solution.
I googled html5apkbuilder (incomplete), official guide (need TOO many soft to install), and couple of tools which is wasn`t satisfy me by some reason (not only me if they are not popular).



After three days of working i made a package of: minimized portable java environment + APK recompilator + application sign key creator + several necessary tools to create an android application + batch script for simplifying whole process.

I tested this package on CLEAN Windows: XP(x86), 7(x64), 10 (x64) without any sign of JAVA SDK. And it`s work!

So here is screenshot:

I think it`s totally obvious what you can do here ;)

Application sign key must be created at least once (of course you can recreate it as many as you want). So before your first APK making you should make a sign key - it`s easy. Just answer a few questions in script (Name, City etc.)

Next you should place your "www" folder in "!RPGMV" folder.
Also you can replace an icon there (!RPGMV\icon.png). Icon can be any resolution - script will generate the right one(s). But it must be PNG picture.
That`s it!

Now you can choose 1st option and you`ll see this:

After filling this form (and press enter) you must wait about a minute.
You`ll get theese files:
0_app.unsigned.apk - totally will not install but you can sign it manually (needs for devs)
1_app.signed.apk - signed working application
2_app.signed.aligned.apk - signed working optimized application - this is your file!

Also, as bonus, script can make 3_app.signed.max-optimized.apk and 4_app.signed.optimized.aligned.apk - this is application with insane optimization but this optimization can long a hours, so you can wait or just close script window on this step. My apk (from video) without optimization weight is about 50Mb and 40Mb after it.

P.S. i`m working with RPGMMV 1.5.1 and Android 6.0.1. Regards!

hii, i wanna ask to make the game have custom bgm we need to use m4a file only or both using m4a and ogg?

drew some stuff to see how frontview might look. not entirely sold on or off of it yet. "could" work, but something feels missing.
