Trial and standalone are identical, if it asks for your key then either your key was deleted from your windows or you purchased the steam version (which has no key). In case of the steam version, project updates are automatic and you don't need the installer here - you onlyneed to follow the directions here for your manual project updates (which don't need an additional download either)
And please go to the 1.4.0 topic anyway since this update is old and 1.4.0 is the current version.
