I just started on trying to get this program to work not too long ago, but I get stuck on a screen where it says I cannot connect to the internet (when I am connected). It won't let me activate the code given to me. (Here's the screen:
)

Help?

A side note: i've removed Norton Security and have taken down all firewalls. This screen continues to pop up. Also, I've tried the trial version. All I see is a white screen, nothing more.

Update:

The screenshots above are the ones I sent in to the admins. I've tried removing Norton, I've tried also going and attempting to download the Steam version. Neither are working. Any other suggestions?

Just a stab in the dark, but knowing Norton and how it likes to completely lock down anything you don't say to allow, it's probably stopping the activation. Disable Norton and try again.

Hmmmm, I don't suppose if you right click the window, you get an option that says Inspect Element? That would ideally give more information about the error, but otherwise I have no idea. I only use the steam version, so it's not an issue for me to activate it.

Just to clarify, inspect element should bring up the development console for the built in Internet Explorer window you're looking at.

The problem with Norton Security is that deinstalling it will NOT remove its blocking.

It is intended to be used on a computer to block access (for example blocking parts of the Internet for company computers) and then be deinstalled to prevent the company employees to remove the restrictions it placed.

So you need Norton Security installed and use it to remove the blocks and open the full internet access again before you can uninstall it.

And no, I can't tell you where and how to do that - for one I don't know what you decided to block (or which automatic default blocking strategy you set in it), and for second I've refused to use the yellow pest for decades exactly because it is intended for companies and networks and not for private users (who are always surprised that deinstalling it only removes their program to change the access blocks but not the access blocks themselves).

If the Steam version is blocked as well as the activation of the standalone, then you have at minimum two different blocks remaining, because steam has a different form of activation. Whitescreen also suggests that your graphic driver is out of date and needs to be updated, as RMMV requires a rather current version of the OGL (which is supplied by the graphic driver)

I suggest you make a support ticket to the official Degica support (www.rpgmakerweb.com, not here in the forums) if they can help.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such?
