Weird. Do you use the Steam version? It doesn't look like it from the path you show here, but that might be relevant anyway.

Judging by this error message it is the Steam version (in the Steam directory) and there seems to be a problem with the Qt5Quick.dll file. I would try validating the files in Steam. If you want to make sure Qt5Quick.dll gets re-downloaded fresh, try copying it to a different folder before validating.

Ah, yes I use the Steam version, I forgot to mention that. As for how frequent the crashes are.. I'm having maybe a couple of them a day.

I got the SHA-256 of Qt5Quick.dll, verified the file integrity and checked it again and it was still the same.

I personally run the standalone, so I can't say I know what I am talking about, I am just guessing, hoping to that a random guess might give a hint or something like that...

Has it always crashed, or is it something that has started to happen recently?
If you are running the steam version, what happens if you rollback to 1.1.1? Does it remain stable then? (Not that you would want to, but at least it would narrow it down a bit... / allow you to run the program untill a newer version is released.)

Another likley cullprit might be an antivirus software, some of them guard dll files a bit too well, stopping access to them even when the dll files is supposed to be accessed by a program. (Unlikley since they, read:"most", would log such info) Make sure that, if you are running an anti-virus software, that it is up to date, just in case.

Sorry for the late update, I had kinda forgotten about my post. The day after my last reply I decided to update Windows 10 to the latest version, I had before that point held off with the update due to reports (+experiencing it myself on a different machine) of the update previously breaking system files critical for Windows 10 to work.

After the W10 update RPG Maker MZ stopped crashing. All thought I've spent less time in the editor and more time in VS Code working on a few custom plugins for the project I've been working on, I haven't experienced any more crashes.

Illuminati may be just a cover-up for the actual secret society of Illuminaughty. :kaojoy:
Got distracted... again. So now I'm on project.... 5? 6? I can't even remember off the top of my head how many plugins I have in the works. Though I blame the latest two on a coding youtuber I watch occasionally. He codes in C++ but walks through the process well enough that it inspires me to do similar things for JS plugins. So... blame him for my lack of activity. lol
It's my birthday today! Mom and I went to my favorite Japanese restaurant for lunch and they gave me a Japanese dessert as a birthday surprise. Their salad is SO GOOD. Now we're back home chilling!
Game Theory is great to practice and all... but it is zero substitute for playtesting a game and saying, "Am I having fun?".
