Bug Fixes
  • Fixed an issue where the frame setting value set in "SE and Flash Timing" of MV compatible animation is not retained in animation.
  • Fixed an issue where the decimal point is not displayed correctly in the Database -> Traits window.
  • Fixed an issue where the battle would not end immediately when an enemy dies by slip damage.
  • Fixed an issue where parallax rendering would be distorted on some smartphones.
  • Graphic Update to Children's walking graphics - Fixed a stray contained in the feather material.
  • Fixed a notation error in the Japanese HELP menu.
Database Changes
  • The changes applied here only reflects on a new project.
  • New Project - Removed the "Small Shield Equipment" feature from the "Bandit" class.
  • *If you have created a project before v1.4.2 with default values from the new project, you can remove it by deleting the trait, Equip Armor -> Small Shield.
  • Changed the target Scope of Skill #16 "Wait and See" to "None".
  • Skill # 108 "Ice II" damage formula has been modified to "300 + a.mat * 2 - b.mdf * 2",
  • Skill # 109 "Ice III" damage formula has been modified to "500 + a.mat * 2 - b.mdf * 2",
  • Skill # 151 "Darkness II" damage formula has been modified to to "500 + a.mat * 2".
How to update your project(s):
  • Create a backup of your project or only its data and js folders. Updating can sometimes cause your project to break so this is for the safety of your hard work!
  • Update your project by going to the Main Tool Bar -> Game -> Update Corescript option.

I believe this was reported with the 1.4.0 patch--and I might be completely mistaken about this--but I believe sound effects associated with MV animations won't deploy if you check Exclude Unused Files.

Can anyone else confirm this or is it just me?

Hello, I think I found a BUG, where can I report this bug, for those responsible to fix it?


Program : RPG MAKER MZ
Version: 1.4.3
Program Language : Portuguese
Platform being used : Steam


Information:
When creating a description in field 1 of the "Equipment Area" column located in the database, in the "TYPE" tab

as picture below

It does not appear in the "equipment type" list on the "equipment" tab located in the database.

As per the figure below.

As the pictures shown above, it's just field 1, the rest looks normal
I tried to put the word above in quotes to inform the place of the error, because my program is the Portuguese version because I was born in Brazil.

Huh, do you need to do anything beyond clicking game and update corescript to get to that point?
Since you're not using the Steam version, you might need to download and install the update manually.

I redownloaded and reinstalled two times and on the second one it suddenly worked, mysterious but hey I take it

I officially declare today "test play day." I'm going to waste the whole day playing video games, which isn't a shock to anybody, but hopefully today I'll play my own and figure out what still needs fixin's.
Empty Bottles and Health Extenders are now a thing.
Also the Sling-Shot does damage to enemies now, but not a lot and you won't get gold from killing them that way.

added a Panic gauge to battle. it fills up according to your actions. each character has a different passive that activates once the gauge is full. also once full, a countdown starts and after each action taken, the gauges decreases. with each character, the decrease is different.
Genuinely considering making a thread informing people how to Google.
