Hey everyone,



Whenever I press play while testing the animation I made in Effekseer, I get a black screen. I’ve made sure to download the Effekseer plugin and have it turned on in RPG Maker MZ, but the issue does not go away. I have even tested the whole game, and the attack animations still do not play whenever I am in battle with an enemy. How can I resolve this issue?

At least I didn't go crazy. It's really corrupted. Maybe they broke something with another update.
However, please report here if you manage to resolve this.
I already created a thread on GitHub.

I used version 1.70b. Earlier I watched a video tutorial with version 1.50g, where everything worked perfectly.

Damn, I almost gave up. How inconvenient it is when there is no clear guide and you have to assemble the puzzle in different forums and posts, sorting through the pieces. Finally I got it. Everything is working.
Version 1.70b with plugin 1.70b (EffekseerForRPGMakerMZ_Ex-170b-105.zip) that this dude from other thread has on the link.
The moment that I missed is the libs folder, initially I didn't have the plugin, then I got the wrong plugin, then I put the right one, but it didn't work again, because besides the plugin there is a libs folder with two files. After that, all my test animations began to be displayed.

The next poor fellow who steps on the same rake, know that this method works 100%. But I did not check custom textures, now I have enough original ones.

I have both libs files, I have version 1.70b and the right plugin. All my textures are routed through my game folder. I have no idea what I’m doing wrong
Can anyone help?

Edit: Nevermind I figured it out

For some reason the most recent version of the plugin is not equipped with the most recent libs files. So you have to go in and download them separately off the effekseer website and then copy them over to your js folder (overwrite the ones already in the folder). I didn't realize the libs were out of date until I opened them and looked at the files. After that, everything worked perfectly! :)

Wohoo, its finished. It took some time but slowly I get used to this retro 90s anime style.

Has anyone watched the movie "Tiny Toons: How I Spent My Summer Vacation"? It is a cartoon and it is freaking hilarious. We watched that movie so many times when our kids were growing up. Thankfully it has a lot of adult humor to keep the adults entertained that the kids don't really get.
Here's some more weapon icons for the Wastes I've finished recently. Some are mine, some are icons that @Ninjakillzu originally made (the AK variants, the Thompson, the Glock, the M16 variants), but edited by me with permission.
