@Archeia
This is how Steam and RPGMaker has always worked. If it suddenly didn't do that then it would be working correctly. That's why the Standalone version exists. I'm pretty sure most Games and Software in Steam does the same thing. It will always open Steam.
Absurd. I have no need to run two applications of DB FighterZ at once. But I do have a need to run two RPG Maker applications at once. One for my own project, and the other one for VS, Mog, or just a random test project.
Again, why is this suddenly an issue now? We were fine with being able to use MZ without needing to confirm with Steam. Who decided to put this restriction on the program all of a sudden? What's the point? The people who use the program know well how inconvenient and irritating this is than some random dude in a suit.
If you call this working correctly as intended, then that's a bad decision. It works as intended, yes, but not well. Basically "task failed successfully".
If it's specifically just optional parameters, I opened 5 instances of MZ and there's no problem. Even with a project open. It doesn't ask for the optional parameters. I'd recommend reinstalling if it's causing that issue for you or Verify the Integrity of your cache.
Tried both. Didn't work.
I am only able to open one project. If I try to open another project, the splash logo will appear, but project won't run. Tried to run another RPG Maker window by Steam, didn't work, either.
I still can't figure out what the hell is the issue with the screen tearing in 1.2.0. Does anyone else have this problem besides me?
In any case, please pass the words to the programmers. Just reverse all these nonsensical changes to the program. It's just a headache for most users and it does nothing to improve the engine itself. Please. It can't be that hard to just make another patch/update to fix these problems.
