Ok, I have been out of the loop for ages but I was browsing steam and I found this RPG Maker Unite I am just wondering is this made by the same people that made RPG Maker MV/MX or is it a totally different company?

as i understand it, it's basically a different "team" from the same "company" ... with some overlaps

Gotcha Gotcha Games has obtained the rights and business of RPG Maker from Kadokawa from my understanding.

well, Kadokawa is 100% owner of GGG, right?
so yeah, they basically choose to change publisher (komodo) and instead choose to fill that role themselfs

Also Kadokawa is not the owner of GGG. They were at one point the publisher of RPGMaker, but are no more as GGG has decided to self publish.

or am i missing something?
