(Rpg maker VX ace) A switch not working??

For some odd reason, I setup a choice then with a condition A switch on this shop keeper although for some odd reason it doesn't work? I've done this before with ease so I'm not sure what I did wrong (If I did something wrong)

Higher page numbers have higher priorities - if several pages have their conditions fulfilled, the page with the highest number will become active.


Since the page 2 has no conditions, it will always take priority above page 1, completely independent of what conditions are set for page one.


Copy page 1 and past it as page three, then delete the current page one (effectively exchanging the page numbers for the existing pages) and it will work.


Nex time, please make simple screenshots of the two event pages - that is easier and better readable than a video.
