So,I am new to RPG maker VX ACE ,I used the lite version for some days and just have some questions about the lite version.

1.Can you make as many many maps as you want in the lite version?

2.If you try to publish the game you made in the lite version, and want to earn money from it can you publish it to Steam? If not,can you upload it to flash game websites like Kongregates?

(I think I know the answer to it)

These are the questions I had in my head.

I've moved this thread to Product discussion. Please be sure to post your threads in the correct forum next time. Thank you.

Project development is for specific projects

The answer to both questions is no.

Lite is a limited version because it is free, so you cannot create as much in it as you could with the full version.

And you are not allowed to publish anything made with Ace Lite, you'll need the full version for commercial rights.

However, Ace is currently on sale (for one day or so remaining) in the shop at 80% off (check the announcements to get the sale code), and can be found at that price on steam resellers three or four times a year - if you can't purchase it at 15$ then forget all ideas of going commercial. Because you can't go commercial without having a business licence in your country, and that usually costs more.

I suggest you follow the link to the starting point in my signature (it contains tips for commercial development as well) and check the commercial discussions on this forum for more help.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
