Hi,

I am about to release my game on steam, but I got some issues with enabling Steam Cloud.

What is the root directory of save files of the game made with rpg maker vx ace???

Help please... :)

By default, save files go into the game's project folder.  Unless you have a script that saves them somewhere else, and in that case, it could be anywhere - you'd need to check the script.

I'm not sure if the steam version behaves differently by default.

I added the game folder directory, but it doesn't work too

There is a considerable amount of work needed to get a game ready for Steam, and it requires some scripting.  I suggest you contact someone like Zeriab who has done this a lot for people and ask him to do if for you.  He will, of course, charge you a fee, but you will know that it's been done properly.

there are two different things that you might be talking about, and you have to confirm to us what you want:

Do you want your game to be made available on the free steam workshop for Ace, or do you want it as a regular game for sale (probably through greenlight or so)?

In the case of the workshop, you should never copy your project manually - it should be processed by the menu option "manage projects" where you have the controls and options to place a description and a picture before uploading to the workshop there. Be warned that this might need several tries in case of larger projects, because the steam cloud never was designed to handle large packages.

In the case of greenlight or regular publishing, that is what ksjp17 was talking about - that needs more preparation, in case of greenlight you need to pay a fee and in case of a regular publisher you can't do it yourself but have to find a publisher to get access to those options.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
Yay, now back in action Happy Christmas time, coming back!

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
