Hi,
I have a problem with RPG MV: often when I'm saving the project it crashes.
I have made screens of the error, but idk what they mean, any ideas?
I have to keep even more backup copies for this... It seems to happen mostly after I open/mod events with a lot of stuff in (or big maps) and I try to save...
Can it be related to dimensions?
It's really annoyng cuz I can always lost a lot of work

it's not the dimensions, but I cannot say whay it says on top.
do you use a stand alone or steamversion?

and what does the line above says about the error?

where did you save the project?

the rpg makers save like a database (MS Access, Filemaker etc), not like regular programs, and that causes problem if you have the project inside a cloudsync'ed folder.

I save the project in Documents --> Games (I don't use any cloud, however how can I check for that thing?)

It gives me the same problem both on win7 (pc desktop) and on win10 (laptop)

this file "Qt5WebEngineCore.dll" is either faulty, damaged or deleted.
which means, if you create a clean project and the same errors pop up again,
you might to re-install RPGMaker so fix all damaged/deleted files.

if it doesn't give the error in a new project, your project core files
might be corrupted/damaged.

but if it's sync to a cloud program like Andar said, this can be true too,
which I dont know (dont use cloud sync at all).

Make sure RPG is installed on the C drive, project can be on D or other location,
you prefer.

Also make sure the project saves in their own project where you open the
project to edit things/modify etc.

otherwise, I dont know what else the error can cause this, didn't got it.

I just tried a new clean project, copying ONLY the data folder (the one with maps/common events data) from my usual project.
After 3-4 saves, switching from a map to another (also opening-closing some big events) it still crashes.
It seems to me a program related problem more than a project related problem.
Also cuz the Qt5WebEngineCore.dll is located in the C:/(86)/KADOKAWA/RPGMV folder and not in the project one.

that one is only is the mainroot of the RPG installation.
everything is readed from there when you build/event etc.
the project is pure for the files used, but are still linked
to the main root when develop the game and used again
when you deploy the game.

so it's not in the main project.

most likely you need to reinstall, so have you the steam or the standalone version?
you didn't answer that and there is a difference in the procedure for reinstalling...
