Copying the original, pasting it, and opening the copied projects through the editor will corrupt both projects database.
You'll notice it takes longer to load the database with editor and crashes happens often. 1/10 opening database, opening events etc. it crashes. (have like 500hrs with degica version, zero crash before that happens)
Doing so corrupts "Data/System.json", because replacing it with the older backup file fixes the slowdowns and crashes BUT! Once I did it, open and tested my current project that the problem is fixed, I tried to replace the "good" System.json with the supposed "bad" System.json again and no slowdowns or crashes occurred.
It happens on both, steam version and degica (I brought degica in hopes it's just a steam version doing so).
Please fix it. This "weird" bug potentially ruins projects and thousands of hours put into them. It's very hard to develop once it happens, though the "weird" fix is pretty easy.
The biggest problem is crashes.
