RPGmaker MV character height reference

    I just thought I would show RTP style characters from the main rpgmaker engines, and compare their height side by side.

    Oddly enough, it seems that the mv character sprite is only slightly taller than the xp characters.

    I hope this little recource I put togther proves to be helpful to somebody who wants to mess around with mv sprites.

    It depends on what you want to do; we don't necessary have to follow the RTP size. For example, my MV characters will be 48x72 pixels ^^

    I realize that, I just wanted to put a refence out there for people who wanted to make RTP charcaters. (Or perhaps people that want to put XP sprites in MV.)

    Just keep in mind that more important than the visible sprite size is the grid size of the characters (and the height of the sprite grid for XP was exactly the same as for MV if I remember correctly, XP was 32x48 and MV is 48x48.

    Because if people start to size their sprites according to visible pixels, a lot of sprites will leave the grid and may cause problems. (happened before with users new to spriting)

    I personally think that this would be much more interesting if you included some other sprites, like Half Kaizer and Mack and Lunarea's XP/Ace blends.

    Will also be interested in how PV HF sets will fit, old and new. I know he has previews of possible sets, but actually getting them in format and using them should be interesting.

    Would it still be feasible to use custom sprites of 32 x 64/70+/92 in MV?
