Help us to find out when and where the limits have been reached!

The new RPGmaker MZ should have better performance ...
then let's find out how good the performance really is.

This test & check could be interesting for some and would be important for me personally. I want to know the limits, so I can make my games playable for most.
~ But I guess I'm not the only one.

The following Test checks:

- How many Events can run simultaneously (parallel process) until the frames collapse and it is just before unplayable.

- What can influence the result. How much will a small or large map influence the result, how does it look with pictures or with parallax maps?

- In addition, it tests what happens if you use very long event pages, what happens if you use many calculations, are common events better, worse or equally good?



Structure and information:

First you go through an automatic test, this can take about 10-15 minutes!

Different phases / examples will be worked through. First on a small map, then on a very large map (256x256) with a parallax background and last but not least on a parallax map. On each map a test run with small, normal and large events. At the end, we briefly check the animations (one animation per event).

You will get the final result - please take a screenshot and share it with us.

You can test further in "Free-Mode" (mix small and large events, use common events, test with picture- and screen-animations,...). If you could share a "report" or your results, that would be great!

Of course, each test run will have a different result, but you can at least draw an average or give yourself a limit.


Phase #1: Small map with "small" events.
Phase #2: Small map with "normal" events.
Phase #3: Small map with "big" events.
Phase #4: Large map with "small" events.
Phase #5: Large map with "normal" events.
Phase #6: Big map with "big" events.
Phase #7: Parallax map with "small" events.
Phase #8: Parallax map with "normal" events.
Phase #9: Parallax map with "big" events.
Phase #10: animation per event.



Post results:

Please post it here or send it to me privately. Please also provide your PC data, download speed and / or Android data (reason: so we are able to make a better establish for the minimum requirements for our games).

Everyone who is interested would be happy if you could post your result + data here!

IMPORTANT: Please do not enter any private data! Only technical data e.g. RAM, graphics card, Android version / operating system, ...! If you do not want to specify this or do not know it, a rough information is sufficient (e.g. "current games are still running well", "I have a potato PC",...).

If you need help, don't hesitate to ask. ;)

Prozessor AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Eight-Core Processor, 3700 MHz
Nvidia GTX 1060, 6GB
32GB RAM

On the large map (256 x 256), my PC was a little bit weak during the small events. ^^'
Otherwise quite stable.

I think I'm going to make each equippable item in my fantasy RPG grant a skill while its worn (in addition to the character's learned skills). Equipped gear that might be weaker in stats can still be useful in certain situations if the skill they grant exploits a weakness or resists a strength in the monsters being fought. This could potentially open up lots of build strategies to play with for fun.

i wonder what addiction effect behind playing new vegas too much,maybe INT & Science gone worse in many days :D
