RPGmakerVXace product key issue

Um, Hi, i'm super new here and I recently downloaded and purhased RPGMakerVXAce My issue is I can't activate it at all. I've looked and searched many websites to figure out what to do but, have gotten no where. 

I have the full version of RPG Maker VX ace but it is in japanese a Language I do not understand and can't learn on because my translator for Japanese is pretty bad.. 

Is there any way I can activate the English version or do I have to Re buy RPG maker VX ace and spend extra money on it? 

I hope someone can PM me on how to activate this awesome software because, I really want to create some RPG games for some youtubers and friends to have some fun and enjoyable moments on.

The only full versions of Ace in Japanese, that are available outside of Japan, are pirated ones.


Where did you download and pay for the one you purchased? It should be in English.


If you have started with the pirated version and created a project, and all the text is in Japanese for the default database, installing the English version is not going to change the text in your existing projects to English. You would have to start a new project to get the English text.


Activating it is simply a matter of running the software and selecting Activate when prompted. The activation code should have been sent to you via email, or if you purchased from the forum store here, it will be in the client area of your profile.
