Hello people,

I'am new to this software, upon installing the software, I tried to play around the features of RPG Maker MV, but whenever I clicked playtest, the playtest screen just turns white.
I did look out for the fixes, nothing works.

This is what I did.
- try the famous opengl.dll thingy and put it in the mv folder

- reinstall my graphic card driver (Nvidia GTX 780) and update it to the latest version

- reinstall the software

Anyway, when I tried to play with the browser, it works, but not on the client itself.
Did I install it wrongly or what? or I messed up somewhere.
Thanks in advance.

Hello people,
Welp there's only a few more things left to do if you actually did everything you said you did properly.

1. Someone had this same problem a few weeks back and also had a nvidia driver. They solved by uninstalling the video driver and using a prior version of the driver they already had installed so maybe try this.

2. Completely uninstall MV again and try different versions [if you tried 1.3.1, maybe try 1.2]

3. Make sure anti virus/firewall arent blocking program, should run as admin if requested.

heres the link to that thread idk if there is any more info but it was basically the same he was getting white screen but could run on browser which usually means video card or anti virus or something arent allowing rm to function properly.

The what?

If you press F2 in your browser to bring up the FPS meter, does it say "Canvas Mode" or "WebGL Mode" on the bottom? And what does it say in the playtest window?

WebGL Mode on browser but on playtest window, nothing except plain white screen.

Pressing F2 does nothing there? Do you have any plugins installed in your game or anything? Did it work in the past?

yes, pressing F2 does nothing there. No plugins, anyway this is my first time trying MV. I did try VX Ace, works fine.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD

Yay, now back in action Happy Christmas time, coming back!

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
