RPGMV backups *asking for help*

so, my problem is already known, but so far I have not found any simple method to do this, basically I wish that when my computer shut down, my 3 month project would not fall into a ditch.

Can you clarify? I'm not sure how this fits Resource Requests unless you are losing the resource files when you shut down. But what do you mean by "fall into a ditch"?

kind of, every time my computer shuts down due to a power outage, after I turn on the computer and go back to the desktop, the project no longer opens, almost as if it had been affected by the power outage.

I've moved this to Tech Support. There's still a lot that is unclear. What exactly happens when the project no longer opens? Do you get an error message? Does literally nothing happen? How are you trying to open the project? What do you do when the project no longer opens? Do you create a new project and start over?
