I have downloaded the trial version of Rpg Maker MV but whenever I click continue on the Activate, Buy, Continue screen a small white box that says "loading" appears and after a few seconds, I get the error "RPG Maker MV has stopped working".I tried restarting my laptop and reinstalling Visual C++(both 2010 and 2013)

I am running upgrade windows 10(bought laptop pre-installed with 8) on my asus laptop with Intel® HD Graphics and Intel® Celeron ®. I hope to get this fix because it'd be nice if I could try this one out.

If it helps, I installed it from my USB flashdrive since my laptop is experiencing problems with dnsapi.dll so the Internet is not working.

I'm not sure reinstalling Visual C++ would have any effect at all.

My first thought would be to check that your audio & video drivers are all up to date.

That is unbelievably strange... >.<

I think you need to consider updating all your drivers. When I changed to Windows 10 some of my drivers disappeared. My best graphics card driver disappeared and my dads sound driver disappeared. Perhaps check your graphics card driver and re install that. If you do not know how let me know and I can assist you further. :3

Ok so I tried to update my intel graphics using the intel driver update utility but the utility also does not detect my internet connection, so I tried to update the drivers manually using device manager. Now I believe I successfully updated my Intel® HD Graphics since windows tells me "Windows has successfully updated your driver software"(For both versions 10.18.10.4252 and 10.18.10.4276 and Microsoft Basic Display Adapter). It also says it has successfully updated Intel® Celeron® Processors and Intel® Display Audio (versions 6.14.0.3097 and 6.16.0.3154). Though, I am now recieving "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application " whenever I try to run the program.

I think you need to fix the problem with your internet first - manually "Updating" the driver in the device manager also allows you to install the wrong driver if you don't know what you're clicking at, and that might have happened here.

If your problems are due to the networking driver, you should try to update the chipset drivers for the motherboard first - a lot of drivers won't work correctly if you're still using the microsoft drivers for the mainboard buses (those are general drivers to allow installation on anything by using a compatibility mode with very low speed and partial functions only)

If your problems are due to DNS detection problems, it might be that a malware got through and now blocks your access instead of hiding itself (due to changes in W10)

Have you tried re-installing .NET framework ? If you re-installed your network driver then try re-installing .NET framework, I think that will fix it! ^_^

The Internet problem is due to windows defender detecting a Trojan and deleting the trojan which was either a positive detected as negative(most people has had this problem when windows update was updated) or a negative that has affected/corrupted a positive, which i believe, would be the DNSAPI.DLL. The only things detecting internet and that can use it is IE, Edge and Windows Update.(Google gives me a dns error but the dns works fine on other devices.) I still have yet to find out how to fix this problem other than doing a system restore (system restore will delete almost all of my files.)

I've tried that but it has not fixed anything. I've installed the trial on my sisters desktop pc and it seems to has worked and opened successfully on there and I was able to use the RPGMV without any problems.
