The Fire And The Beast is a demo, this means it is not fully done yet. Well, what does this game offer at the moment? The game, as of right now, has 3 different characters. Peter Daniels (Detective), Jess Black (Warrior) and Sam Ashton (Hero) the warrior and hero don't appear until you have visited one of the three maps in this game. Here are the maps: Roselake, Violl's Garden and Dialite's Rest. I'll explain a bit more in the "story section".

STORY:
As I said at the beginning, I will explain a bit more here. This game may seem like an ordinary RPG Maker game at first, which it is! And I'm proud to say that...? The game features my music and Aaron Krogh's music in it, instead of the default music. Now let's actually get into the story. This is pretty much what I've written down in my notes. 2 different species are attacking the town and the detective and humans must stop them, but the species are fighting back and even lying about being a human and then killing people in the town just to get revenge. In the end, they have to fight this "beast" (the title name) which is a dragon that is very powerful. So powerful, that they need backup. The species' backup. After amounts of asking the species' help, they finally agree to be friends and give up on destroying the town. Then it is of course up to the player whether or not they win, using the battle system. This story actually isn't in the game yet (it is just a demo) but probably around half of it will be in the pre-alpha.

I don't know why it's there and I thought I already deleted it but this is just a broken version of the "Game.exe"

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
