Hi! I started developing a game a few days ago in VX Ace. I've realised that I'd really like it to be playable in HTML5, so I'm moving to MV, which has html5 export option.

As all of the scripts I've used are ruby, my question is: can I simply transcribe them to javascript syntax and that will make them work? Or is there something different in Ace and MV that I should consider before simply transcribing?

Also, if there's a way to export to html5 from VX Ace let me know! Though I know that's pretty impossible.

    Thank you!

no, you can't simply transscribe them.

That is because javascript needs some different structures and has other names for the functions to link to.

It is still possible to rewrite the logic to javascript if you've written the RGSS scripts yourself, but it requires some javascript knowledge and is not automatic but quite a bit of work.

If you simply used other people's script, then better search for new plugins.

And no, Ace is windows exe only

Ok, thank you! Seems I'll have to look up on some RPG Maker scripting tutorials then!
