Hey there,

So I recently stumbled onto a folder on my computer called 'Ruby Tricks 2013' which I naturally explored. Turns out this was some kidna contest held in 2013 for funky ruby programs.

Here is some that heavily amused me...

This one won 'best way to return true'.

$ruby.is_a?(Object){ |oriented| language }And this one got the 'Best Program' award.

!@THEqQUICKbBROWNfFXjJMPSvVLAZYDGgkyz&[%r{\"}mosx,4>6]|?'while(putc 3_0-~$.+=9/2^5;)<18*7and:`#^ this prints all ASCII characters to the screen, in order!! :D

Anyway, there are quite a few more random program that are certainly worth checking out. So here is a link for you to check out;

Enjoy ^_^

This is exactly why I posted it here - so people can attempt to understand some of the programs they have written.  I only linked the basic 'oneliner' programs, but there are some that do incredible stuff in tiny amount of code - such as the 'battle system' (not anywhere near like rm's) thats about 15 lines of code or so.. ^_^

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
