@Ruedefaux well it's not like I don't like red and green as a combination lol I actually liked the previous one with this character especially the color scheme there (if you remember even though no green lol), it's just that somehow (can't really explain it) it feels off here. But that's not criticism, just my personal feeling with it Maybe it's the intensity and variety of the red in combination with the green in this one picture? I dunno...
Usually I like red/green in combination so I'm a bit puzzled myself haha

I DEFINITELY muted the colours in that piece a LOT compared to others of him, so that one was easier on the eyes (it was too much even for me when it had all the saturation) XD

But like i said, I kinda upped the crimson in this one, so maybe its... weird. Ish. I like it myself, but its weird in its own way. I tend to lean more towards the "orange" side of the red spectrum with his pictures, but decided to go full on red this time.

It's okay. I've shown my bf @ObsidianTrance some drawings I've done where he said the colours were so weird that they made him wanna throw up LOL. He's usually fine with the colours I use for most of my illustrations, but there's always an off time where he has a VERY strong reaction to them :'D

Liking it yourself is the most important thing and anything I say should be taken with a pinch (or several pounds) of salt
I particularly like 'Hello my ragtime gal', 'bad frogs don't go to heaven' and the soldier one. There the colors work perfectly IMO, the only other one (so far) I have the same off feeling with is 'ＣＡＮ ＹＯＵ ＦＥＥＬ ＩＴ ＤＥＥＰ ＷＩＴＨＩＮ? '... Though not to the point I need to throw up lol

Took me a second to realize which one "can you feel it deep within" was, cuz thats the main quote for his character I use a lot, but i found it LOL (the world frog day pic, im assuming). Yeah, I'll admit that's not my favourite picture of him either, though probably for other reasons, not so much the colours. I like the "fun-ness" of it, but I think I could've illustrated the depth of the crowd better personallyby drawing more children or something... I think I DID struggle with the colours in that one a tad too. I dunno. Something about it feels off to me too, but for more for depth reasons XD
Originally I don't think I even planned to post it anywhere cuz I wasn't loving it much, but it was "world frog day" and one of my friends BEGGED me to put it up because "ITS PERFECT FOR WORLD FROG DAY!" so I did haha.
