Run event when enemy takes damage?

Hi!

I have an event I want to run when one specific enemy takes damage.

The enemy is a puppet who's MP should always be equal to the amount of damage it took, so I came

up with an event that changes his MP based on how much damage it took.

Not sure how to do this, I tried using a script which allowed enemies to counter with skills, making the skill run a common event.

However, counters negate the damage entirely, so that didn't work.

Help appreciated! thanks!

Is your puppet going to engage in an event encounter or random encounter?

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
