The game is ready to play, but still very far from completion. In essence, you will be playing the beginning of the game as it is meant to be. If I had to rate the game, I'd go with a T for Teen rating. There are bad words, but they're obscured with symbols. There are some moments of obvious sexual themes, but it never crosses a line; mostly plays on words and teasing banter. There is some blood and fantasy violence.
That all said, I hope you enjoy what I've created, as I've had nothing but fun with this adventure.
Welcome to Run The Last True Symphony.

Donica Linnell
If mystery were a person; she would speak in an accent you’ve never heard, have eyes a bright shade of the bluest sea… with fire and wine painting her long flowing hair.
Etiquettical, regal, well-spoken and a natural practitioner of white magic; it’s true what they say of redheads… they’ll shoot you a sweet smile, and burn your world in an instant. With beauty and class; she’s a young woman of many words, but of little want to speak… at least, when it comes to truth.
Whatever it takes, however difficult a journey it may be… through darkness and pouring rain, over mountains and under moonlight; she walks. Humming the song of her homeland, she walks. With purpose; with a mission… she walks.
An enigma—a redheaded stranger; what secrets hide behind her blue eyes? The truth, may be stranger than fiction.

Longinus Von Oi
Not everyone can be a hero, some try; most fail. What even makes a hero?
Surely not being tactless and simpleminded, impulsive and obnoxious… spending your day playing and laughing when you should be reading and studying your lessons? A hero doesn’t snub his wins and berate his enemies. He doesn’t dream of shooting the moon; he doesn’t play jokes and eat mashed potatoes… so what could a country kid know about being a hero? That’s the easy part…
A hero takes action when others don’t. He gives when everyone takes. He smiles when times are tough. He has soul, he has compassion, he has loyalty and he would walk to the end of the world… just to stand on the edge with you. The heart of the party, Longinus may not be a knight in shining armor, but he just might one day… hit the moon.
Not everyone can be a hero, some try; most fail… but not everyone can be a red-eyed gunslinger.

Mao Yazzinaro
It’s been said that a friend will always be there for you. Through good times or through bad ones and Mao is no exception.
Shy and nervous, but intelligent and passionate; full of energy and a voice of reason, it also helps that he’s well versed in black magic. Always lost in a book; epic worlds of mighty dragons and powerful wizardry, but sometimes the best adventures are the ones you live. Not fond of ghosts, but really… who is?
Having grown up with his two best pals, Linus and Sib, he’s the glue that binds. Never denying the call to adventure, he’s the friend everyone wishes they had. He’s a romantic, he’s a fighter, he’s a free spirit… and he’s not one to underestimate.
It’s been said that a friend will always be there for you… but Mao—will always be there with you.

Sibelis Brassard
Cheerful, kind, loving and friendly; these words could describe anyone… anyone but Sibelis.
As deadly as she is beautiful, she will break even the toughest man in half with a single swing. Discipline at its highest regard, skill of a seasoned professional and she knows it, as anyone else who might tread a little too close. Known as the muscle of her eternal party, she’s tough as nails and takes nonsense from no one. When you’re looking for raw power and brute strength, she’s your girl.
Level-headed, tactical, grounded in reality… and when the going gets tough, she’ll gladly show you why she’s the best. Besides, who else will keep her two little brothers from blowing up the world?
A loyal friend and a brutal enemy to have; say what you want about Sibelis… just don’t say it to her face if you want to keep it.

Kirby Rufigar
Every once in a while, you might hear a tale of a man who’s fought a thousand bigger men. Told that when he gets knocked down, he laughs and stands right back up, tougher than before. It’s been said that his swordsmanship is only rivaled by his foul mouth—a sinner and a saint.
A lieutenant in the Kurohata, Rufigar is a legend among their ranks, and the eternal bro to Longinus. Sure he might be vulgar, flippant and have propensity for violence… but his heart is just as big as the sword he carries.
Dutiful, valiant and fearless; always ready to defend, and always ready for a brawl. There’s no one better to have at your back when your plan involves going in hot and wrecking a few dozen wimps. Word to the wise… don’t call him by his first name if you value your life. Many have learned that the hard way.
Tales have been spun about the man that never surrenders, stories spoken of his infamous talent of mockery and legends told of the one that finds his happiness surrounded by battle… but the most amazing thing—is that they’re all true.

Hecate Langstaff
There's an old saying... that powerful people make it look easy. That essence and flow are as natural to them as cracking a smile; that presence is everything, beauty can be intimidating and command is to be obeyed at any cost. To call Hecate powerful—is an understatement.
Once the leader of Kurohata Team 7 and the commanding officer of Longinus and Rufigar—she has since risen to become the shepherd the Kurohata deserved—earning her rightful title of Marshal. Domineering, strategic, resourceful... and unrelenting. To make an enemy of Hecate is to make an enemy of the Kurohata and to make an enemy of the Kurohata... is to battle your worst nightmare with only a prayer. You don't need to be blessed with magic when a single order can bring an army to your side.
A vicious streak hides behind those doll green eyes—one person in particular can attest to that... but he's the lucky one after all. What's a dream anyway, if it can't be shared with someone you love?.. and a pair of dreamers in a trench—is worth the fight of your life.
So is the saying true? Do powerful people make it look easy? Hecate does--but the reality is... blondes just do it better.

What if your shadow was your only companion? Could you walk a thousand miles? Would you know what’s worth fighting for… worth dying for?
For Donica Linnell, she has no choice.
A young woman of half-truths and ruses from the once glorious sovereign of Arcemaecia; she’s come to terms that the time of inability has long since passed. Believing that her sovereign’s downfall began with the unearthing of a mysterious jewel; she hatches a clandestine plan to steal and destroy it in the ancient flowing lava pits in the land where the gods turned the other way… a treacherous place, named Kazilboro. Trading her peaceful life for a chance at her sovereign’s redemption, she goes on the run…
Now a wanted target from forces of her own sovereign, Donica quickly learns that away from her ivory tower, the world glimmers less than she would have hoped.
It isn’t the fear, nor is it the journey that saddens her… it’s the fact that she walks alone.
Timid to the alien land outside Arcemaecia and ignorant to the dangers, she falls prey to its nature; a redheaded wildflower, in the wrong garden.
But—on an ordinary day… something extraordinary happens.
A young man with eyes like crimson and a coarse silver tongue, carrying a red brass handgun—inadvertently becomes her savior; and, for the price of one Cizash, he becomes the companion she never knew she wanted.
With a party of ever growing friends, Donica begins to find focus and face her fears to see a growing ray of hope… but even the brightest light, casts an equally dark shadow.
Torn between being truthful in her endeavor and keeping her plan guarded; with a lie, she begrudgingly sets the stage for something she and her companions could have never imagined.
It’s a difficult thing to be a hero; as it’s far easier to hide behind the falsehoods you build… and as for Donica, the truth will not set her free.
What if your shadow was your only companion? Could you walk a thousand miles? Would you know what’s worth fighting for… worth dying for?
For Donica Linnell, she has no choice… but for a gunslinger, there is only one answer.
Nothin’ ventured… nothin’ gained.

A world like our own; Tellus is experiencing a new renaissance. Machinery is becoming more and more prevalent, motorized vehicles are replacing horses and wagons and computers are becoming the norm. Magic, though archaic, is still a force worthy of attention and will never fall out of service to those that choose to master it. The people are happy… or at least, they’re complacent.
They live in peace, settling in all parts of the world. Many enjoy the cityscapes of Clionga, places like Vathe and Arbordell; while some find haven in Galvia’s majestic mountain ranges, and picture perfect scenery. Others find amity on the sandy beaches of Kisada, or the untamed wilderness of Goronland; perhaps even the icy ground of Atrium with its technological structures or the rolling plains and open range living of Succien.
Life seems wonderful on Tellus--but over a hundred years ago, it was a different place; a terrible place. Technology was little more than an infant and a bitter misunderstanding would be the cause of the largest conflict of Tellus’ history… a five year war that spanned almost every continent, a war that took the lives of millions; the unnecessary war--The Great War.
It pitted the Sovereign Empire of Arcemaecia, the plutocratic realm of the East, against the Unitary Dominion of Juniper, the colonial superpower of the North. Feudalism opposing conscription, cunning versus manpower… rhetoric and propaganda—leading to sadness, followed by death; and its remnants still litter the fields to this very day.
What was gained? Nothing.
What was lost? Innocence.
A war a hundred years ago, where not a single veteran remains… how could it still be causing so much strife?
Simple, the war… never ended; an armistice never signed, a treaty never written and an apology… never spoken. The only thing holding these two nations from opening an old wound is a century old ceasefire.
Still the people carry on… golden people of the world, they are. They laugh and sing, work and grow, play and pretend… yet still they remain complacent. Unfazed to the vicious creatures that inhabit the world, unaware to opportunistic brigands that live to strike fear and empty purses and untroubled to the changing political climate… it’s been said for decades, but nothing ever comes from the scare. After all, it has been a century of relative peace.
—but something’s up in Arcemaecia… two years ago, the borders of the Sovereign closed; no one in, no one out. Television and radio limited to within the boundaries, and news sparse—a complete information blackout. The Kurohata report internal discord, but are unknown to the cause, or severity.
Tellus watches and waits for what may come. What could have Arcemaecia in turmoil and is history about to repeat itself?

Download will be uploaded soon again! Promise. After testing and fixing it'll be up here as soon as I can get it.

Bug Powder Assembly, or just Bug Powder, is made of two people; my girl (jennykfj) and me (samkfj.)
I do the game development, and Jenny supports me with things like hugs and kisses and she also is the one that compiled this post (I'm not very keen on forum posting.)
I'm from Texas, and Jenny is originally from Germany. It's a long story, but not even thousands of miles could keep us apart, and now she's helping me with my dream of making a video game. This isn't my first rodeo with game development--but it is my first solo flight.
I'm also a writer. I've had a few tiny publications, and I always dreamed of writing a novel. In a sense... this is that dream. Jenny is a graphic designer by trade, and has taught me many little tricks with creating art; though, I'm hardly an artist, unless the art in question is stick figures, then I am indeed your man for the job.
I'm also somewhat of a musician. I was in a few bands in my recent past and I've been incorporating my love of music into my work. To be specific, I was in a punk band (oh yes, there was a time when I had a two-foot mohawk) and in an acid jazz band (I always loved the sound of jazz--and mixed with electronic sounds? A dream come true.) I'll always find myself going to one of my instruments for comfort and just to alleviate stress. So, yes--I am a huge fan of punk rock and jazz/blues.
As for the game, I had the idea since high school. I wanted to tell a compelling story, with unforgettable characters. A story that stays with you for many years; one that swells emotions of sadness one moment, and makes you smile the next.
Thank you for viewing this post, and I hope you enjoy the demo.

Here you will find all the goals of development, I will update them when I can.
- To change the movement sprites and combat sprites.
- To change the introduction movie. As a warning, the introduction movie does have a copyrighted song. Reason being, I wanted to see if I could make a video using only RPG Maker and Comipo. After about a week of work, it came out pretty good, I think. I decided to keep it in just so you could see it too. I do understand the music is not owned by me, and I will create a new video using a song I'll create instead. I hope that isn't a deterrent to want to play, I do promise I will change it when I can.
- To add custom art; things like faces, sprites, and character busts. I'm far from an artist, and I will one day soon hopefully have the means to get some great art. Comipo and the rtp are my saviors.
- To add an original soundtrack. I'm working on it, I have only the one song that plays in the main menu.
If you are interested in helping us with any of the above, let me know!
