So, I had posted here a few months ago about trying to get Khas's Lighting to work with Celianna's Rural Farm time system so I could have a flickering lantern and have different shadows at certain times of the day(I got it to work, btw) but I seem to have encountered a problem with it.

I cannot seem to get the screen to stay tinted when I leave a house and go back to a town. I have to enter another time period(I.E. go to 20:00) running a parallel process won't work, I have to use an action button on it no matter what, even though I shouldn't have to. I don't have the inside/outside common events set to be called, because the theme of the game is before electricity was invented(lol) so it stays dark even inside, other than a flickering candle/lantern/fire place.

So my question is:
How do I get the lighting to NOT change when I leave a house, no matter what time of day it is?

You have to call common event 6 or 7 at every map change.

Doesn't work, boss.

Just tried it.

Still waits until 20:00 to change the tint with event 7 called on both maps lol

Apparently it doesn't want to be nice to me.

Do you also have this issue with the demo project's maps or only on your own maps?

Only on mine.
The only things changed are the last two screen shots on the original post.

Left is mine, right is Celianna's

It was initially from a quest, but I removed the quest and just never renamed that condition switch.

Update:
I 'somewhat' fixed it. The screen will re-tint every hour, which seems like that's the closest I'm going to get. I simply added a conditional branch in the "Time System" common event for every single hour. 1, 2, 3, etc.
I can't make it stay tinted, nor can I make it tint at every minute, but it's better than waiting for certain periods, in my opinion!

Go to common event Screentint, remove the top conditional branch that checks if switch Inside is on. Go to the next common event Screentint Update, and remove both conditional branches for the switches Inside and Outside. It should now tint the screen according to the correct time, and stay that way even during map transfers.

I think you were using the Inside switch for something else, causing the issue.

If it's still not working, you can make the common event Screentint be called in the first common event Time System, right below the common event Time Update being called (instead of doing what you have right now, where you made a conditional branch for every hour).

This worked beautifully, I can slow down time back to where it was so days aren't 2 minutes long.
Thank you.

Streaming more Poppet Quest game even in about 12 minutes.
Some dog owners really impress me. I'm pushing 2-3 metric tons of garbage containers that destroy everything they hit. What do you think is going to happen to your tiny dog when I run it over? And why are you crossing my path to argue with me? Have you never been hit by 200kgs of garbage?

Lesson for you folks. Never mess with an angry garbage container. Or its driver.
I didn't dispose of a file properly and now my whole game won't start: I get a script error in the Scene Manager stage of game launch. What to do? Transfer it all to a new project? That's going to be tedious. Fortunately I am only nine workdays into it.
Makin' stuff on a broken laptop yay
