Survival horror where you need to gather food
and supplies at day while making sure you have enough
time to get back to your hideout before night comes.
Set in a nightmarish factory world.

Playtime is roughly 1 hour.

"Another dreary sunday.
At least, I think it's sunday.
It's hard to tell for sure.
Everything blurs together here, and the
fog of memory lends a strange cast to
things…

Hours of laying on a bed staring at the
rusty ceiling can make anyone feel strange,
but I don't think that's it.
I haven’t talked to anyone in awhile.
That’s the first thing that crept up on me.
Now it's hunger and thirst.
I have no idea where I am. It could be
another dimension, for all I know.
Maybe I am.
The heaving, incoherent screeching
and strange sounds. I am sure I have
never heard them anywhere but here.
I should probably stop thinking too much
about it, or I will not be able to muster up
the courage to go outside."

RMMV
The artwork just makes me want to download it.. Too bad my computer is clogged up with stuff that I can barely download anything.

Time to delete some stuff, then give this a go :p .

Give it a go, the 3 of you. You won't regret it, probably ^^.

Alright so I tried this out. I really like how atmospheric it is, that is the first thing that drew my attention. The gritty, grimy graphics combined with the psuedo-cutesy protagonist reminded me of the game the Binding of Isaac somewhat. I like the premises of what you are going for, giving a rather limited amount of time and steps to explore this scary environment. However, I felt it was perhaps *too* restricting. I found my hunger going up a lot quicker than I could find food (though that is not what got me in the end, it was losing track of time). I wanted to explore more, but really couldn't venture far enough.

All in all, great job :)

Perhaps you had some bad luck with the fridges (it's semi random what you get from them), and they restock after sleeping.

Go gather food from the fridge nearby your shack and the one near the tracks for a day or two if you're having trouble with food.

Made some much needed edits to the game!
Intro is shorter and I moved some of it to later parts of the game,
some parts are easier (most notably last area), there's a new area,
and the ending is longer.

I've tried it and enjoyed the experience. BUT, try to acquire a proper Allcaps Trajan font which uses the same weight to low and up cases, as a typographer it annoyed me more than it should.

You do NOT need the 108 (801?) key to open the door.... MIGHT want to fix that!!

Ah thank you for catching that little mistake, I'll fix that as soon as my super slow upload speed lets me.

Edit: Fixed.

Really enjoyed this game, even after beating it I still play it just for the atmosphere of it. Good job.

Glad you're enjoying it. I do the same with Silent Hill every now and then.

I made some changes a while back, moved around the intro into the game to make it shorter (since it was really long), and made some other difficulty changes along with a longer ending.

I kinda forgot to edit the download, though. My bad?

Looks like an interesting and possibly enjoyable game. Except; this picture:

I am not liking the HUD there, everything is all squished together and blugh.

Other than that; the game looks interesting. Good luck with further developments and MERRY CHRISTMAS! :p

Thanks, dragonborn. And a merry christmas to you too!

I've recently noticed alot of other horror games here, maybe horror games are on the rise again.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
