Sandstorm Effect?

Hello Everyone! 


I've been an RPG Maker User for a while, but I'm new to the community.


I was wondering if it was possible to make a Sandstorm effect in MV either by plugin, weather effect, or by any other means.


The opening cut scene of my game take place in a desert. And I feel like it would add some drama to the scene.


In my attempts I've made a sandstorm image in photoshop and used the Show Picture option in a Parallel  Event.


And it worked! .........for 2 seconds . It look exactly the way I wanted it to. Until the awkward moment when I saw the end of the picture fly across the screen. 


Help would really be appreciated!

Hmmm...the way I'd approach this is to use a fog script, and have it show your sandstorm image you tried earlier as a fog. That should keep it looping and on the screen for you.

I never thought of using fog....that's really clever! After a quick search I found  the Victor Engine Fog and Overlay plugin: 












From the looks of it, this could be just what I need. Thank you!
