Hello and welcome to ExEngine. What is ExEngine you say? Well ExEngine is a collection of server tools for RPGmaker MV to be put simply (though there is nothing simple about it). ExEngine also stands for Experimental Engine in case you are wondering. In reality it is the third iteration of my Skill Usage script that I made for RPGmaker VX ace (the second iteration which was also for RPGmaker MV was never released). However it can and has the potential to do much more then just collect statistics. ExEngine also has more then a year of time invested into its creation!

Features:
  • Mass collecting of skill usage statistics!
  • And in game GUI for administrative use allowing you to check the statistics!
  • A handy search bar allowing you to search for a particular actor or enemy based off text you enter or a regular expression!
  • An enhanced Debug_Scene you can now search for switches or variables by name!
  • The Debug_Scene also allows you to set nearly any type data to a variable!
  • All debug scenes are held on the server until an admin requests them! -Note that currently everyone is an admin as login and account creation is not in working order as of yet.
  • Advanced Input allowing nearly any key on the keyboard to be used!
  • Players can create accounts
  • Players can login to accounts
  • Players can logout of accounts
  • If a player disconnects unintentionally (like loss of connection) they are logged out
  • Player data is stored on the server (Cloud saving :D)

This engine is not plug and play it will require much work to get it to work!

Just released The Player Update. :D
Here is a brief overview:
  • Players can create accounts
  • Players can login to accounts
  • Players can logout of accounts
  • If a player disconnects unintentionally (like loss of connection) they are logged out
  • Player data is stored on the server (Cloud saving) :D

Bug fixes:
  • An issue with saving the wrong map id has been fixed
  • An issue with logging out has been fixed (now it takes you directly to title instead to the game end scene)
Changes:
  • User names and passes are now checked to make certain they are at least a certain length
  • Server now logs more information on certain events
If anyone needs help in setting this up please feel free to leave a message or send me a PM. I would be happy to answer any questions relating to ExEngine. This will help me in creating a better setup/help page on the wiki.

There is now a demo released for ExEngine! This demo showcases the currently implemented features. More features will be added as they are developed. You can play the demo at: Edit: See post below.

Note that some browsers may exhibit some bugs with some of the features. If you encounter one please post an issue at https://github.com/Sarlecc/ExEngine/issues

Edit: Also note that loading times may be long sometimes please be patient :kaoswt:.

Edit2: The Graph for skill stats should now work correctly on Chrome.

Due to some unexpected bills and being busy in real life, I am unable to maintain the demo of ExEngine. This means that the demo will be turned off until further notice. Please note that I am still working on ExEngine and am currently making a major update to it. This new update will change many things in ExEngine and how it works and should make it ten times easier for developers to extend it/use it.
