Save mechanic

So, what I'm trying to accomplish is a save system in the game. After a major scene occurs, the player gets an option of
"Save", "Quit", and "Continue". Continue does nothing, of course. Save saves the game, and the player has the option of returning to the main menu. My issue is that once the player resumes the profile, the game asks "Return to main menu?" again. I'm trying to bypass this somehow, but I don't know how. I don't want to use a script for fear of messing up the rest of the game. The same issue happens with the quit option. It says "return to main menu?" as soon as the player resumes.

Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Post a picture of your event. However, do note that when a player selects Save, it saves the event as it is when you hit Save. So if you were testing and saved but didn't finish the event, it will keep running the unfinished event until you use a different save to play through that sequence again.

Thank you for your quick reply. Here's a screenshot of the save choices branch (the contents above and below the picture don't matter):

I would also like to note that I added "file loaded" to see if the save would resume after the choice, but it didn't work.

You forgot some important details in that picture. We need to see the entire screenshot, so we can check for what the event priority is and other things, as those can affect the results.

The three files below are the entire event page. I'd also like to mention I'm trying to use the same save system in multiple other events, so I was trying to make it fairly generic. Hopefully this information is enough to work with.

Looks ok in theory. However, what I would honestly do is just set it up as the following:

Show Text: Would you like to Save your Progress?
Show Choices Yes/No
Yes:
Call Save Screen
No :
(Do nothing)

Rest of event I'd put below that.

Also do note that once you call Return to Title Screen that's it for the game. Anything below that is never executed at all.

Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
I was thinking that when you start the battle for it to appear the eyes of your characters and opponents sorta like Ace Attorney.
