Hi, so I recently bought RPG maker VX ace and decided to mess around with it. I downloaded a tileset and set the passage options for all of the tiles. When I started a new project, I realized that I needed to redo the entire tileset for the new project. Is there a way of saving tileset settings, or is there an issue with my copy? Thanks.

If you want to start a new project with exactly the same tiles and settings, you can simply copy over the Data/Tilesets.rvdata2 file from your existing project to your new project, along with all the Graphics/Tilesets images.

If you only want some of them, you can also have RPG Maker open twice (not sure if this is possible with Steam, or if you have to do it a slightly different way than just double-clicking the launcher), select a tileset from the Tilesets tab in one, and paste into the Tilesets tab in the other. You still have to manually copy over the images though.

Maybe I've misunderstood your query, but I'm surprised Shaz didn't suggest her own script as another method.  Have a look at this thread to see if it would help at all.

I thought about it, but the OP is after something much more simple, and I'm hesitant to suggest scripts when I think they will be overkill, or to a brand new RM user who might have troubles with them. Thank you though :)

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such?
