Saving and Loading Bug

Hi, im having a problem when I try and save the game I get an error message saying

this._states.contains is not a function

It saves a corrupt file then crashes, when I try and load the file it says

$gameSystem.versionId is not a function

I have posted a screenshot of the plugins I'm using.

The error happens sometimes when I try and save the game and creates a corrupt unloadable save file. Im using RPG Maker MV 1.6.1 on a MacBook Pro OS High Sierra.

First of all, you forgot the () at the end of the function call: $gameSystem.versionId().

Are you using any third party plugins?
When exactly are you calling the $gameSystem.versionId()? (if it's before a certain point the game hasn't loaded the data for it yet).

Try deleting everything in the save folder and see if the issue persists.

I'm using a palette limitation plugin from RMBoy asset pack. It forces the game to run in WebGL mode and starts immediately the game is run during the made with mv splash screen.

I deleted the save files and it works but if you try overwrite the same save file I get the same error message. I don't know why its missing the parenthesis () but that's how the error reads on the screenshot.

I am also using a map as the title screen using a plugin made by SomeRandomDude. It has two notetags in there, one to hides olivias proximity compass and another to set the palette of the map using RMBoys plugin. All those plugins are third party and run before the game is loaded up.

I'm not with my mac right now but when I get home Ill try disabling the plugins and try save and load and overwrite a file.

Please show the full error output from the Console. You can open the console by pressing F8 during a playtest.

Edit: Solved. I removed the font-size: 12px; in the css (which I wrote trying to change the font size) and deleted the save file and everything works now.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
