So this is actually covering any stats, the title is just one of these I was looking for. Basically, I'd like to have my MAT also increase MHP. I have yanfly's base param control, and am guessing I can do it in there somehow, but I'm not sure how. Any suggestions?

Not sure about the lugin, but I feel like this needs more context. How do your stats work? I assume you're not talking about regular level ups here since that'd be.. Just give them more MHP at level up...

If it's stat item, it's the same thing... Just also increase their MHP on use. So what exactly are you trying to do?

I assume he's talking about a more classic RPG style where health and magic are the result of your stats; for example an intelligence stat may increase the amount of MP earned per level, but willpower may also increase MP gained per level.
So, for example, your default MP growth might only be 5 per level, but will gain 1 additional point of MP at level up for every point of intelligence or willpower the player has. So 5 + INT + WIL

I don't believe Yanfly's Parameter Control can make it so that MAT universally applies a MHP buff, though I could be wrong. That said, you could just lie. Just say that MAT increases MHP and then do it behind the scenes in the way SG suggests.

Sorry for the vagueness, let me clarify. Leveling up doesn't grant stats in this game, rather I'm using Yanfly's Stat Allocation plugin, so when you level up you get 2 points to put into stats. So in this instance, increasing a point of Intellect (MAT) will also increase your mana by 5 points. Stamina (MHP) will increase HP and Variable X (fatigue). Things like this. I'm just trying to tie other stats and variables together.

Right. So you can't just make it that clicking to boost your Int will also increase your mana because of how the plugin works? And do you still want to give players the option to spend points to boost max mana directly or should they only be able to do it by boosting Int?

Yeah, can't do it with the stat point plugin. I don't want the option for players to just increase their MHP or MMP, only through statpoints like STR and INT which also add other stats as well.

So if players can't boost their MaxMP directly and can only do so through Int, aren't Int and MMP effectively the same stat at that point? Maybe you should just rename MMP to 'Int' in the system and make all your damage spells scale off MMP at a 1 to 5 ratio. Get rid of the actual Int skill and now voila! Whenever a player bumps up their 'Int', they're bumping up their max mana by 5 and their magic damage scaling by 1.

For the record, this is an insane suggestion and you probably shouldn't do it but it does solve this one specific problem.

Yup, that would work fine. The problem is that other stats scale variables. An example, is that I want strength to also scale 2 variables, 1 for max carry weight, and 1 for a variable that controls fatigue. So what I'm really looking for, is a way to change what the stats do themselves.
