Hello awesomeness community :D!!!!

Soooo.... Here is my problem... I am using the Yanfly picture common event plugin and it has a list of plugin commands "woohoo".
(TriggerButton Jump) works perfectly. (TriggerButton Cancel) also works flawlessly... What this does is it makes the game
press the button even though I am not physically pressing it. Now the problem is.... (TriggerButton Left) and ALL directional
buttons are not working with that plugin command so i am wondering if i am doing something wrong or if if i can simulate
the button press with a script call instead of a plugin. anything helps thank you.

Ohhh!! also, before anyone brings it up... creative an event with a player move route to move left is not an option in my case.
I am using a plugin which makes the main character ignore blocky tiles so if i use "move route" then the player walks an entire tile
and that will game the game super uncomfortable and blocky for this type of game. thank you in advance for any type of help :)

A link to the plugin would be helpful

http://yanfly.moe/2016/04/01/yep-88-picture-common-events/ this is the link to the plugin however... is there any way to simulate button pressing without having that plugin at all? a code that works without the need for plugins similar to like Input.Triggered('LEFT')? I tried that
but that only works with conditional (IF) situations and it doesn't force the button to be simulated.

Well, the Jump and Cancel wouldn't be able to be triggered without that plugin, either. You need SOME kind of plugin to make that happen.

I don't see any reason why those directional buttons wouldn't work. Do you have other plugins that might conflict? Try disabling them and see if you still have the issue. Are you certain the commands to trigger those buttons are being run?

If you can't get them working, I suggest you post in the thread for that plugin so Yanfly is aware of the issue and can look at it.

I have tried to replicate the issue in a completely new project where nothing has been edited and I used my best friend google to see if anyone else has this issue there was one other person who also never solved it and I don't think anyone has made the effort to bring it up that the command has no function as of right now.

Then you should consider this an opportunity to help the developer of the plugin. I'm sure he'd appreciate knowing it's not working correctly ;)

Were you able to replicate the issue (unable to trigger directional keys) in a completely fresh project with no other plugins?

Yes, I was able to replicate the problem on on a fresh project with no plugins. I will try to contact yanfly about the problem but they seem so busy that it almost makes me want to search for other methods of obtaining a left press simulation.

Just post in his thread. Tag him like @this and he'll see it. It doesn't help him or anyone else if someone sees a problem and doesn't let him know about it.
