RMMV Script call to turn "through" on/off for an event

I need to turn through on and off for an event. And I have to be able to specify the event by its ID, so I can't use something like "this._through = true;". I can't seem to find it anywhere. Thank you.

EDIT: Nevermind, I just tried something and it worked. It was:

$gameMap.event(n)._through = false;

I am running on a 64 bit windows OS and tried doing this conversion. I converted all of the .exe files that I could find in the KADOKAWA\RPGMV folder using the 4gbpatch.exe file. However, after trying to access RPG Maker MV after this conversion, it simply will not load. Do you have any advice or any ideas?
