Hello i need a script for using the big icons in my game.

Will take some tweaking depending on your windows.

If you really want to avoid having to change it all:

change def draw_icon to draw_item_icon

then you would only need to call that def in a script when you want a big icon.

So example:

draw_icon(icon_number, x, y) is how you call the original one

draw_item_icon(icon_number, x, y) is how you call the new one

Indeed, your window-based scripts (anything window-related that would show icons) must be changed to support the new size and everything else. It's a tricky ordeal.

My mean is not that i brought ds resource pack and here is the big icons.

So, i want to use those in my game.

So arrange those into a icon-set make sure the spacing is the same size

it's much easier to work with them.

then change the 24 to what ever width of the icon box is

So you create the icon set in Photoshop or Gimp and you make the grid 32 by 32

save that into your system folder as iconset2

and then change that file name in the script from

"IconSet" to "IconSet2"

then change the def name to draw_icon to draw_big_icon or draw_item_icon or whatever you wanna call it.

yanfly's menu system has the option to use large icons

(To Zane) How can i make all in the icon set

If you mean to use the iconutil to make the icon sets

So,i tried it and its not work for big icons.

(To Engr.Adiktuzimiko)Thus it work in shops(I using shop upgrade by galv)

You need to take all the images and arrange them into a new icon set in a image editor.

The icon index works the same way.

it works on his own shop scripts, IDK if it works with others

the icon are 64 *64

and total icons are 85 

So what is the size of the page should i make???

width = 384

height = whatever you need for height

that allows you to put 6 across or study the first sheet and check the dimensions of that. I'm pretty sure it's 384

so use a 64 x 64 grid to place them.

I am not sure what this means. Are you using resources from the store but you haven't actually purchased them? Where did you download them from?

No my big brother  purchase them.

and there is folder for big icons.

so i want to know how to use them in my game

(I can't use resource in my game???)

If your brother is the one who bought them, then you cannot use them in your game... Only your brother has the license to use those

If the game is entitled to the both of you (as a two-man development team), then wouldn't it be alright?  Well either way some kind of purchase proof would eventually be shown upon any releases. (if questioned)

I never asked a question, IDK why you said it was a good question and why there was an answer... but yes, as long as ur part of the "team", that's fine...

You don't need to show proof of purchase upon releasing a game.


Anyway, we're way off topic now. Let's get back to the question of how to use big icons.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
