Is there a script that can load switches and variables from a saved game file into an entirely separate game? Asking because I'd like to keep the player's names, experience, inventory, and choices for a sequel game. It seems like a script would need to write to a .txt file and have the second game retrieve everything from that .txt file during play unless there's something simpler I'm missing. Here's an example of what I'm talking about:

"RPG Quest" Save File:
$game_actors[1].name = "Bob"
$game_variables[10] = 5

"RPG Quest 2" Start New Game:
$game_actors[1].name = Get from "RPG Quest" saved game data
$game_variables[10] = Get from "RPG Quest" saved game data

Any idea how hard this would be or if something like this already exists? I'll probably end up commissioning someone later on; just wanted to know if its an easy job or crazy hard for some reason.

On my journey of character rework: I had this character, she was meant to be just a princess that joins your party. And at long term she was just uninteresting... So I tweaked her to be a rebel agaisn't the royalty before meeting up with the party.
