Wow havent been on here in a while mvs release brought me back. I use to post as a user named hinorashito but forgot my password. All I know is shaz and a person whos avatar was some red girl with glowy fire could almost always help me.
The only thing I would like help with is in my game I dont want levels. I want the player to have to make more difficult choices on how they should go about upgrading characters.
So I wanted the player to be able to go to the stats menu and spend exp to raise characters stats. yanflys skill learn takes care of my desire to have them spend exp learning skills but i wanted this if it makes sense.

Okay so they want to boost her agility for the first time and it cost 200 exp to raise her agility then the exp cost increases the more you raise the state. If that makes sense at all is that possible can anybody assist with that.
Thats what I have always wanted more than the whole leveling system. Is there anybody who can help assist me with this?

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
