Good Morning / Day / Afternoon / Evening everyone.
First of all, I want to tell you all this is my first time posting on these forums. Now, on to the subject at hand.
I am looking for a sort of script in RGGS3 that operates as a "state" in which a character is in a dynamic customizable "Skill Berserker" State, very similar to Rinoa Heartily's limit break in Final Fantasy VIII, Angel Wing.
Basically. The actor, while in that state, would randomly use a skill based on a pre-programmed list.
The way how this would be activated would be: Once the actor's TP is at 100, the LIMIT skill type option is available (I already implemented this) "Angel Wing" would be a "LIMIT" skilltype skill. Once the skill is selected then perhaps the script, or a "common event" would activate the Magic Berserker State.
Now, I need to remind you, that I am using Dai Ichi's "Skill Core System" found on his blog
http://dainekoichi.blogspot.com/2015/10/rmvxa-skill-core-system_5.html
I hope I am not breaking any forum rules by posting links to another person's script.
The script, when you equip a certain skill core to actor, you have an option to also give that said actor the skill type belonging to the skill within the core.
perhaps you may need to look at that first... for better compatibility?
Basically. Magic Berserker, IF the actor has the "Magic" Skill Type skills (it's set to skill type id 2 in my project). The state would force the character in his/her turn, to automatically only select magic skilltype skills randomly (depending on what magic skills is available on his/her magic type skill list), without input from the player until the end of the battle, additionally, the actor's magic power would increase tremendously, and also the spells would not cost any MP while in this state.
Of course, if the actor in question DOES NOT HAVE any "skill cores" (see Dai Ichi's skill core system above) that contain "Magic" type skills. then the SKILL THAT ACTIVATES THE STATE contained within the actors LIMIT skill list would not work and would be greyed out.
I hope I have made this clear enough. English is not my mother tongue.
