    Hello, fellow RPG makers,

Part 2 of the series is now up. As the title says, I'll show you how to change a scene through code, how to create your custom scene and how to create a custom window. As a bonus, in the video there's shown how you can map custom keys.

Required: An IDE (some of the most popular ones are Atom, Sublime text 2, Visual Studio Code (which I use) or Eclipse), some Javascript knowledge, Object oriented programming might be of help.

    Subtitles provided as well.

Really liked this video, when you scene push a blank custom menu like you did, you could technically make a picture menu go with the new scene instead of a traditional window menu right? The gears in my head are turning

I like to say, you cannot fly a rocket to space with Javascript... But if you want to make something in RMMV, your imagination is the only limit. That's the beauty of it, it's extremely powerful... And not so difficult as it may seem at first. In fact while it is true that it is more difficult than eventing in MV, the thought process behind eventing in MV is usable in programming. So if you're capable of creating some sort of a complex system through MV's eventing, you may be able to create plugins if you gain enough experience in Javascript and MV's core engine.

I'm not really in any Discord servers, since I'd be a lurker there anyway. But I won't mind if you spread the word around, tutorials that aren't used are useless :D So as long as you don't spam them, I won't mind. More are going to come next week though, stay tuned!

Steam updates it automatically. As for in the shop, I don't know if you can update it. The update changed literally nothing for us, it only removed something for the Japanese release that we did not have, essentially equalizing the two releases. So you can treat 1.6.1 as the up to date version, since essentially it is.

    Oh. I understand. Thank you.
I realized too late that I've changed the subject so, I apologize for that--
