Scrolling Text not working during Introduction

When using scrolling text for the opening scene, all I get is a black screen, no text. If i change this to just a text box, then it works.  I know it has to be me doing something wrong.

What engine are you using?  (You should have posted in the Support forum for that engine - Tech Support is when you can't actually get the editor installed or running).


I ask because, even though your profile says you primarily use Ace, a lot of people use more than one maker now, and what's in their profile is not always the engine they're asking about.  Plus, I believe there is an issue with scrolling text in the latest MV version.


Also, when an event isn't working right, a screenshot of your entire event window will help us track down the problem WAY more than a description of what's happening.  So if you're not using MV, please give us a screenshot of the event.

and your question has been answered above: this is a known bug introduced by the latest update, and they're working on a solution.

@Moksock there is no need for a link to a fix, because that bug has been fixed in the engine itself. If you still have it it means that you have to update your project.
