Question is...will there be interior of the train? 


Im liking what I see so far but I'll wait for the final tileset for a review. I do hope the tileset is plentiful as I was looking forward to it the most!

Just out of curiosity, RPG Maker Web's Twitter page states that the DLC will be released on July 8th. Is that a simple typing mistake, or has the release been pushed back a bit from the date mentioned in this thread (July 6th)?


I'm just being curious as I'm fine with either: July 6th would mean getting it a bit sooner, but July 8th would mean that it's released on my birthday.

Let's hope it will include world railtracks so we can Showcase on the map where the Train goes. Otherwise it will make little sense having railtracks unless it's a mine.


Mines however doesn't use Trains like that though.


I too hope we will get the clothes as Generator parts we can add in our Generator.

DLC Pack 3: Tileset DLC



DLC 3 includes a large and versatile set of tiles for creating a train that's right at home in the standard MV resource environment.

• Autotiles (A2-A5) for creating floors and walls for both the outside and inside of the train
  
• Tile B including a large train, complete with the engine, passenger cars, freight cars, and caboose.
  
• The train faces east and west, and may be used with a scrolling parallax background to simulate movement.
  
• Tile C includes a full sheet of objects and details that can be used to create the inside of train cars.
  
• Animated tiles - such as opening doors, smoking chimney and railroad track switch
  
• BONUS: 8 Train-themed NPCs, incuding the Conductor, Ticketmaster and passengers - complete with walking character sprites and matching facesets with emotions.
  

This portion of the DLC will be live on July 6th.

@Dumeka The focus was on the large train and train environment. But I will let the developer know that there's interest in the mini train + tracks, too.

Also uh... I was just looking at the preview image a bit closer and uh... do you guys not realize that the proportions of the train are completely wrong?


The train is only one tile wide, based on the tracks. And the doors are clearly made for characters that are 2 tiles high, but the characters the pack comes with (and MV itself comes with) are 1 tile tall...

Yes but you can't use the big rails on a world map.

The mini Train and rails would be very helpful for usage on the world map so we can Show that the train travels between cities.


It would be even more awesome to have the clothes of the pack characters as Generator parts so we can create different People with them too.
