It's about a "hero" surviving the perils of being in debt. He meets interesting characters along the way. Mostly those who hate him. The story is interesting and complex with tons of added humor. You walk around trying to find a way to escape from Jake, the debt collector. As you do, you discover a a being who comments on your life, a strange homeless man "assisting" you on your travels, and other random stuff you meet. But I have to warn you that finding that second alternative ending will be quite a challenge.


This game is a 30 min to an hour game, depending how hard you try to find the alternative ending, it could take you longer.

it does not let me save the game. it just makes a error sound when i try.

Just tried it out.  


I like the snarky sense of humor, and some of the dark jokes, although it may be a bit over-the-top for me.  A few comments:


1) The music was great.  Very fitting for what you were going for.


2)  The narrative was off here and there.  At times I'm outside the character, socializing with the narrator, and at times I am the character.  Broke the flow a bit.


3) The Rat Fight.  Wow.  I like that you had skill cooldowns and ATB; made it fresh, but it took so long my interest in the game plummeted.


4) Transitions between rooms horizontally wasn't always intuitive for me, but that maybe just me.


5) Talking to everything was both annoying and fun at the same time.  I found myself overclicking on things 4-5 times just in case maybe it would change this time.  That certainly got old (I felt obligated to do it so I didn't miss something), but when I would get a dialog change, it was strangely satisfying each time.


Great first game!

Thanks! I'm planing to do an update and making this more enjoyable.


going to fix the save function and the some battle tweeks as well as making it easier to follow the paths.

I did a big update on the game.


More balanced to battles (No more long rat battles- hahaha)


easier game progression


fixed the save function


and fixed some spelling mistakes.

Hmm.... So I can use my quick ports of QPlugins, but QMovement breaks MZ's save system. Or I can use the Luna port of the QPlugins whose QMap breaks MZ's save system. I can't decide I want to fix one of those, or just make a new save system. The new one would look so much better.. I'm kind of tempted. :LZSexcite:
I'm very happy and I want everyone to be happy too, so I decided to share this song about the end of the world! :biggrin:
