I've played through Tess and written down my thoughts. I want to organize them into a coherent, organized format, so I'll have it posted a couple days from now.
I've left my thoughts on Tess at its forum page. Sorry for the slight delay! Gir, if you'd like me to repost it anywhere else, let me know and I'd be happy to.
You may want to note that my game is now 3 hours long though, so to make it doable please just play it to the one hour mark like as if you were a judge in the contest. That should get you started on the plot, and let you experience the same stuff as you did in the contest (with a new intro now!). Of course, you can keep going if you wish. Also it is in developer mode, so you start in a warp zone (this is so you can choose to start in chapter 1 and skip the intro if you wish).
And for those who played my game in previous rounds, yes, its updated! (finally!)
This concludes this round of the secret santa. I don't think I'll be hosting another round, since interest seems to be dying down here now that the IGMC contest results have been announced.
Yeah, probably a smart move to finish out the IGMC Secret Santa here, after 4 rounds (between SS 1.0 and SS 2.0). Maybe in a couple months we can reboot it or something.
So a big bug that was on a glue trap at home is now magically not on the glue trap. This feeling of terror I'm experiencing could be a fun thing to put in my game project (not the IGMC one).
